Ever have a moment in life where you just don’t know which direction to turn? It is like someone took all of the things you rely on in your life and shuffled them up and through them into the air. We have all been there at some point in our lives and it can be very discouraging to say the least.
We must remember that God is constant and doesn’t change. So He should be what you have anchored your life to. You should always know where God stands on any issue in your life, and if you have doubts, go to His word.
With God, right will always be right and wrong will be wrong. You never have to wonder and that is a great blessing.
If you are anchored to the Lord and have read the word and still feel like your lost in what direction to proceed, or feel like our in a fog and can’t see, then just stop moving.
What I mean is, stand on what the Lord has said in His word about you or your situation and just be still. See, sometimes it like we are standing in a river with the water about waste deep and because of our current circumstance we have kicked our feet and flailed around so much that we have stirred up the sediment on the river bottom and we can’t see where to step. But if you stop and remain still for just a few moments, then the water will carry the sediment away from you and you will begin to see where to step next.
Remember that God wants us to walk with Him. I sure you have heard the saying about “your walk with God” right? Well that is what it is a walk. Not a run. God is standing with you so stop kicking your feet and acting like you’re going to drown. He will not let you drown! He is right next to you.
Just stop and rest and allow the Lord to bring clarity to your situation.
He is the great " I AM" and He is saying to you " I AM with you "

Bizarro World is Becoming Reality
The time has come to get things into perspective. The United States is being turned upside down and “we the people” are not being heard. For the past few years I have spent a great deal of time reading news from a variety of sources and it is as if I live in the bizarro world.
As of today, a college cancelled a speech by George W Bush because he “murdered thousands” as President of the United States. But another college is encouraging its students and teachers to be apart of the luncheon with the ever wonderful, peace loving, and tolerant President of Iran.
The Black Panther Party is calling for a war in the streets against “Capitalist Bloodsucker America (ns).
The US Government spent trillions on stimulus and now wants to spend half a trillion more since the first one was so successful. The Republican and Democratic party has completely let us all down and continue to blame each other for the problems when they are both the cause. The worst part is I don’t think, no wait, I know that they don’t care about “the people”.
The Atheists in the United States are calling for the “Eradication of Fundamental Christians”.
The US Government is openly turning their backs on Israel, for what purpose? They won’t say…..
Pat Robertson is telling people it is ok to divorce your spouse if they have Alzheimer’s. I guess you forgo the “in sickness and health” part in marriage.
And let’s not forget about the loon at the New York Times said about September 11th.
All of the above is just a small taste of the bizarro news in the last 2 days.
Now is the time to stand up for what is right. We must before it gets so distorted that we all lose sight of the truth.
This is not a problem that is going to be solved by the Republicans, Democrats, or the Tea Party. It can’t be solved by the President or by talk radio.
The enemy, aka ( the devil ) is trying to turn the United States into a flaming memory. He is trying to bring the RACE CARD to the forefront. He wants our streets to erupt in violence. The only way to put a stop to this is for the Church ( that’s you, me, and all Christians) to make a stand. Love is the only thing that can destroy evil (hate). But love is not to stand back and let them be. No! Love is standing up for what is right. To say enough is enough. Love is not letting evil run rampant. Love will insure that the people are informed and equipped with the truth. Love puts an end to fear. Love is what created this world and Love is what will preserve it, as well as the people in it.
There is one other choice, you can just sit back and let what ever will be, will be.

Just Common Sense
If you have a goal then you must focus on the avenues to achieve such a goal. The goal, is the goal. You must seek out the areas that lead to that goal. If you do something to oppose the direction toward your goal, then you are fighting against yourself. For example, if you have a goal to lose weight, then it would be counter productive to plan to eat fried chicken 5 times a week and wash it down with cola. If you have a goal to be wealthy and out of debt then it would be counter productive to go out today and finance a new $ 20,000 car.
So if you want to make a difference in the lives of others, then you can’t lock yourself in your house and watch the TV all the time. If you want to become what you believe God has destined you to be then you must step out and change your course. You must face in the right direction and move forward. You can’t hope that it will happen, you must do your part. God moves on our behalf when we move. Faith with out works ( action ) is dead. You can believe all you want to move up in the world but you have to climb the latter. The higher up the latter you go, faith is there to encourage you and give you the strength to keep going. From the first step to the top of the latter, God is with you 100 % of the time.
Get up, step out, and move towards your goal. Nothing else can or will compare to your God given destiny. Remember that fear is your number one enemy and Faith is your number one weapon

Clear and Present Danger
There is a growing belief that as "Christians" we are to spend our time catering to every need that others around us may have. I tried to live like that for many years and it will leave you empty. There comes a time when you must just stop and rest. It is not your responsibility to be the saviour, the dumping ground, or the defender of man kind. First and foremost you are to take time and love on God, to fellowship with Him. Your next priority is to love on your immediate family, those with in your household. To spend time with them and make the most of the moments. And lets not forget that you need time to love on yourself. Yes that's right you need to have time for yourself. You will not be of any good use to anyone if you are run down, beaten up, and down for the count. Remember that you are only one person and not a super hero. If you don't spend time as I mentioned above you will just be miserable. God has a great plan for each and every person ever born but each person has to seek it out. But if you spend all of your time trying to cater to every other persons wants and needs you will never have the time to find your purpose. I am, at this point in life learning how to do just that. I have had to realize I can't please everybody I know or meet. I have had to just stop and let things fall where they may. My focus is shifting back towards God First, my family at home second, and myself. Then and only then can I be of any real use to the others in my life. I have tried it the other way and I was to the point of giving up. It hasn't been easy, in fact, at times it was like hell on earth. Everybody has their own opinion about how I should spend my time or where I'm not spending it. But the truth is, I missed God, my wife, my kids, and myself. The clear and present danger is losing the very gift God has given us all, a life of victory, peace, and virtue.

A Word for 2011 - Restructuring and Positioning
This is the year for restructuring and Positioning. This is not the time to tear down the things in your life that don't seem to be working as well or moving as fast as you would like. God wants to show you how to restructure those areas. The foundation in which your work is built is solid. There is no need to lay another. God is looking to tweek areas of your life so that you are in a better position to expand your vision, your dreams, and your ministry. This is the year that you will be preparing for growth in the future. Don't under estimate your gifts. Don't compare them with the gifts of others. You are unique in every way. The call on your life is as unique as your DNA.
Don't seek the approval of people when dealing with the talent that God has bestowed upon you. That is between you and the Lord God. Position yourself under the Word of God. Restructure your schedules as God moves upon your heart. There is no need to wait any longer. Quit thinking that you are waiting on God, because He is waiting on you. When you step out, God steps in. Listen to the voice of the Lord and move toward your vision. Allow the Lord to show you the areas that need restructuring and walk in the abundance that has been set before you.
This is the year of preparation for the future. The harvest is great, greater than you can imagine. There is much to do and now is the time to do it.

No room for negativity
I have often wondered why so many people look for the negative in everyday life. Let me clarify that statement. They tend to look at the negative in someone else rather than looking for the good. Even when it comes to things like movies or songs on the radio. I have made an effort to look for the good in people and I was very suprised to see that even the people hooked on drugs,smokers,drinkers,etc have something to to give. But they just don't know it. They think that God doesn't want them because they don't match up with Gods' standards. Well, I have a news flash, no one can match up except by the grace of God through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Also I know that God wants us to enjoy our life. It is a gift from Him. He wants us to love one another and He wants us to look for the everyday gifts that He has for every one of us. For example, have you ever noticed a really cool sunset? Did you ever think for a moment that God knew you would be looking and He wanted you to be blessed?
Take time everyday and look for the goodness in people and the blessings that surround you every day. You will be very suprised at what you will see and what you will learn.

Why God Why?
My wife had come home from church and told me that a friend of mines sister had died from cancer. My friend had gone over to her sisters house and stayed for a few weeks, praying for her, having communion, cursing the cancer at the root, doing everything a christian knows to do. When she left her and went home, the next day her sister died.
I have had the very same thing happen to me over my life time. I finally went to bed around 3 AM and I couldn't shake the feelings I was having. I felt my friends disappointment and heartache. I laid down in bed and closed my eyes and just ask God this question:
Why God do we do your word, jump through every christian hoop that we have been taught and just watch the exact opposite happen. And why after step out and tell of our family members know that you are a healing God, leave us feeling let down.
The Lord replied to my heart: my ways are higher than your ways, my thoughts higher then your thoughts.
I then said: well that may be but it seems so selfish.
The Lord said to me: Those whom you think you have lost are forever in my care. You have not lost anything for you have the promise of being with them again and this time with out ever parting again. When someone's race is complete how long should they wait to receive their reward. If a runner runs his race and completes it and others on his team want him to wait for them at the finish line, but the chairman of the race is calling him to receive his trophy and take his place, what should he do then. He must go and take his place. Anything else would be selfish on the part of the other team. So who is being selfish me or you?
I replied: I am Lord I just never thought of it that way.
Then he said: Since before the foundations of the world were ever laid I have longed to be with my people. For I love them and gave everything for them and look forward with great anticipation to be with them, but I must first wait for the appointed time.
You must continue to do all of the things you have learned and follow the direction I have laid on your heart. For my word shall go forth out of my mouth it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
For I have a purpose for everything that happens though at the time you can not see it, but if you wait you will see my glory shine is a greater way than what you first saw with your heart. Faint not, only believe. For I love you and I love your friend, and all of those who have felt this way. For I am the promise and I promise you that they are healed, free, loved, protected, and receiving their reward.
I said: thank you Lord for your wisdom and love for me and I will share this word with all of your children that I can to bring them comfort in distress.
The Lord said: sorrow may last for the night but joy cometh in the morning.
Amen
May this bring you comfort and understanding and may the Lord bless you.
