When I, When You

When I laid the foundation of the world I thought about you.
When I created the mountains I thought about how much you would enjoy them.
When I created the oceans and placed the sands I thought about you.
When I healed the sick I was thinking about you.
When I walked the road with the cross on my back I thought of you and kept going.
When I was nailed to the cross I thought of you and knew the pain was worth it.
When I was all alone and took my last breath I thought of you.

When you were born I was so proud.
When you took your first step I cheered you on.
When you were sick I never took my eyes off you.
When you asked me to be your Lord, all of Heaven rejoiced with me.
When you made mistakes I was not angry with you.
When you thought you were all alone I was there.
When the enemy accused you, I vindicated you.

I will always be there for I love you more than words can say.
I wait with anticipation when you pray to me and seek me.
I will never leave you or forsake you.
I gave everything for you.
I will not withhold my love from you.
I look upon you and shower you with my favor and blessings
