Hebrews 11:1 expanded

Hebrews 11:1 says "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things not seen"

Have you ever taken the time and broken this verse down? It is really an amazing piece of scripture that will change your life. In fact, faith is the single most important thing we as Christians have at our disposal. Lets take a deep look at this passage

Now = at this moment, not the past and not the future. Now is now.

Faith is substance. Substance is: the choicest or most essential or most vital part of some idea or experience

Thing: 1. An entity, an idea, or a quality perceived, known, or thought to have its own existence.

Hope:a feeling that what is wanted is likely to happen; desire accompanied by expectation

Evidence:To indicate clearly; exemplify or prove.

Seen: To apprehend as if with the eye.

So lets read it with the definitions included:

At this moment,a belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence, is the choicest most essential and vital part of your idea, thought to have its own existence, having the desire accompanied by expectation that even though you can't see it at this time, you indicate clearly, exemplify, and prove to apprehend with your eye so that you obtain that which you have spoken.

Wow now that's a mouth full of truth. Take time and read it again until you get it with your heart and your mind. Now is the time for now faith. Believe for it Now. Stretch your faith and put it in the Now. God is the great I Am, not the great I was, or the great I will be. HE IS THE GREAT I AM. THAT MEANS HE IS IN THE NOW AND WANTS TO BLESS YOU NOW, TODAY.

Believe that today your circumstances will turn around. Today your blessing will come. Today you family will have a break through. We have no promise of tomorrow but we do have today and that is now. Today you will have the favor you need.

Don't worry and keep expecting because expectation is the basic principle of faith.

Just think, when you live your life this way it will become as easy as knowing that when you go to turn on a light switch in your home the light will come on.
